Kevin O’Leary, often referred to as “Mr. Wonderful”, is a Canadian businessman, author, and television personality. He rose to fame as one of the investors on the hit reality TV show, Shark Tank. But his success and achievements go far beyond the world of television. Born in Montreal, Quebec, O’Leary graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in environmental studies and then went on to complete his MBA from the University of Western Ontario. After completing his education, he founded his own software company, SoftKey, which later became The Learning Company. Under O’Leary’s leadership, the company became a top player in the educational software market and was eventually acquired by Mattel for $4.2 billion.
O’Leary’s business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset have been the driving force behind his many successful ventures. In addition to his role on Shark Tank, he is also the founder and chairman of O’Shares Investments, a money management firm that specializes in exchange-traded funds.
